Golf Club membership

Membership entitles members to play on both courses, be eligible to participate in competitions, represent the Club in external competitions and hold a handicap from Crowne Plaza Resort Colchester - Five Lakes. Facilities for golfers include:

CORPORTE MEMBERSHIPS

Our affordable corporate memberships cost as little as £5.00 per person per four ball round, perfect for groups and businesses looking for challenging golf and excellent facilities to impress their customers or reward their staff.  A corporate membership, valid for one year, entitles the member organisation to:

• 96 guaranteed tee times of golf per year
• Annual membership is valid Monday - Friday and weekends after 1pm

Golf Pro - gary carter, pga member

Since taking the head PGA professional role at the resort in 1995 and the responsibility that comes with it Gary has continued to compete although on a smaller scale.

He has won several competitions and Pro Ams in the region including the 1998 Essex PGA Championship and finished 6th on the East Region PGA order of merit in 2009.

In 2011 as a result of his work through the PGA and in recognition of his endeavours at the resort Gary was awarded the Advanced Professional status by the PGA Board.

Golf Tuition

At our Golf Academy resident professional Gary Carter offers expert advice and tailored coaching to improve the performance of enthusiastic beginners and advanced players alike. The Academy also makes use of the floodlit driving range and practice area. Golf lessons are available on either a one-to-one basis, as a video tutorial or for groups as a golf clinic and lessons are tailored to suit a player's needs and abilities.
