The Crowne Plaza Resort Colchester - Five Lakes Arena is 3500m² of open conference and event space fully adaptable to provide a tailored event.
The Arena is a unique venue and ideal for exhibitions, product launches, dinner dances, weddings and team building days. The arena can accommodate up to 4000 delegates or be sub-divided into 3 smaller areas.
There are 550 complimentary on site parking spaces and the arena benefits from vehicular access which is large enough for a double decker bus.

Essex Food Show
Now in their 12th. year 'The Essex Food Shows' will, as usual be promoting a superb range of food, drinks, and kitchen accessories, all undercover, in the huge events arena of our new venue for 2012.There will be a good selection of quality caterers as well as the ever popular range of garden plants and furniture.
We make a special effort to showcase as many high quality local producers as possible, with the majority of stalls having a 'taste before you buy' policy. You will also find a selection of fine foods from all over the world, usually including Polish, Indian, Greek, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French, Mediterranean, South East Asian, and Caribbean.
A full programme of entertainment is planned to take place throughout the weekend, making it an ideal day out for all the family, whatever the weather..
Each event has in the region of 130 exhibitors and regularly attracts in excess of 5,000 visitors.
Hercules Olympia 2012

The Hercules Olympia event is the natural evolution of Scott Horton’s original Mr Hercules body building show which started in 1998. This year the Mr Hercules International and Miss Aphrodite International will be 2 of the main features at the Hercules Olympia along with all the excitement of strongman, power lifting, boxing, mixed martial arts and other disciplines, as well as many trades stands and interactive competitions.
This is an event not to be missed; come and enjoy the grand Hercules experience. The expo features;
